Thoughts

There is a frog in the puddle that our hero has known for about a year. A while back this frog found himself in a dire situation, and our hero was in the position to lend a helping hand. Recently their paths have crossed more often, and they chat about the happenings in the puddle as well as about each other's lives. You see, they lead very different lives, yet share a lot on common. A few weeks ago, as our hero was swimming with a friend, she ran into this frog and stopped to chat. Upon departure, our hero's friend commented that this frog seemed quite friendly, expressing interest in our hero beyond an ordinary acquaintance. Our hero did not think much of it, yet she wondered about it. Since she is not very perceptive to such behavior she asked her friend who remained a firm believer in the original diagnosis. A few days ago, our hero found out that this frog has already promised another frog, perhaps a princess, to become her prince. There is no moral to this particular story. Our hero will continue to wonder about the state of frogs and their minds, perhaps never coming to a conclusion. Maybe there is no conclusion; we live, experience and learn. Then we move on.

This will be my last posting for a while, I will resume on May 29th in the popular summer version of The Puddle… Updates from Jerusalem!
