The Game

One of our hero's favorite pastimes is to observe other frogs and evaluate their character and personality. She is known in the circles of the puddle as disliking many frogs and loving others, for no reason other than one pleasant or agonizing interaction with them.
Recently our hero has encountered a frog who she finds very interesting. Deep inside, she believes this frog is a good person, yet is skeptical of them based on their participation in The Game.
The Game is an ongoing activity that some frogs in the puddle chose to partake in. Some are born natural players and others have to work very hard to succeed. The Game can be played out in various arenas, yet no matter where it is done the players share one aspect of their lives; they tend to lose their integrity in the process. The goal of The Game is to advance oneself and is accomplished through a fan club. Without a fan club, the players are almost nothing.
Our hero has never had intentions to play The Game, yet she has placed herself very close to the playing field and gotten hurt. If her mentality were that of a Game player, she would have been OK, but that is not the case. Therefore, she is wary of befriending those who are professional athletes for fear that she will be used as a ploy or get hurt again.
