Back From the Depths

Our hero has been up to her neck in puddle issues and enough drama has passed her way to last an entire year. The waters in the puddle turned murky and it became extremely hard to see what each frog was up to. In the absence of clarity our hero resorted to only trusting her closest friends, those other wonderful, powerful frogs that shared her vision.

For the past two and a half years, our hero has been living in the puddle. She is not a passive tenant; rather she is intimately involved with all that goes on in her realm of life in the puddle. She is now one of the longest involved frogs and has no intentions of retiring anytime soon. In fact, she was interested in advancing the ranks of the puddle. This past week she was slapped very hard. A person who she considered her ally made the conscience decision to eliminate her from the puddle, preferring to advance a young frog instead. This frog, barely past his tadpole days is minute in comparison to our hero and her powerful friends. The tadpole has done nothing but lie lazily, deceive and clean the current leader's slimy body of algae. The tadpole has conveniently taken credit for events in the puddle he had nothing to do with, and has demonstrated his immense talent to disappear the moment any work is required.

Our hero is hurt that the current leader preferred to appease his ego rather than chose what is right for the group. Yet retirement plans are not anywhere on the horizon, because our hero cares and she will do all that is in her power to improve the situation through her involvement.

Our hero is also grateful for all the friendly frogs who have been very supportive of her throughout her journeys and this last endeavor.
